Celebrate Valentine’s Day with community spirit!

Join the Cape Breton Welcome Network and SonicSons Fitness for a free Valentine’s Day Community Stroll and Social on Sunday, February 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the fresh air, good company, and after the walk, stick around for light refreshments, cookie decorating, and the chance to mingle with new friends and neighbors.

Event Details:
 When: February 16, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (in-person registration starting at 9:30 a.m. or participants can register virtually using the link below)
 Meeting location: All participants are asked to meet at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 150 (1219 Veteran’s Memorial Drive, Arichat) where the walk will begin. Following the walk, participants will meet at this same location for light refreshments and activities.
 Trail details: We will be walking the Old Boudreauville Trail which is a multi-use ATV trail. The approximate time for this hike is 1 hour, with a 15-minute mini-walk as an option for those interested in a shorter distance.

Event participants are encouraged to equip themselves with any necessary equipment they may need for the day, i.e. walking poles, snowshoes, boot grips, etc.

For those who prefer to register in person, registration will be open from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 150 in Arichat on the day of the event.
