The Cape Breton Partnership is excited to host our annual Job Fair Series this May, connecting local employers with potential future employees across the Island. This event series, in partnership with Nova Scotia Works (YMCA of Cape Breton, Employment Services Centre; Le Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDENE), and Northside Employment & Resource Centre), will provide an excellent opportunity to network and explore new career possibilities.

The Job Fairs will take place at the following locations on the following dates:

• ➡️ Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre, 606 Reeves Street, Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, on May 12, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• ➡️ Membertou Trade & Convention Centre, 50 Autwen Ma’sl Awti, 50 Maillard St, Membertou, NS B1S 3W3, on May 13, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• ➡️ Inverness Firehall, 15795 Central Ave, Inverness, NS B0E 1N0, on May 14 from noon to 2 p.m.

Youth Engagement (O2 Programs): We are excited to include a special focus on local high school O2 programs this year. In Sydney and Port Hawkesbury, there will be a dedicated hour from 11 a.m. to noon exclusively for O2 students to connect with employers before we open up to the general public from noon to 2 p.m.. For Inverness, we will have a single session for all participants from noon to 2 p.m..

Please note this registration is for:

• ➡️ Employers: Those organizations with job openings seeking applicants.
• ➡️ Service Providers: Those organizations that support job-seekers and employers, helping to enhance job skills and make connections.
• ➡️ Trades Providers: Those organizations that support the skilled-trades and the employers/job-seekers within the skilled-trades sectors.
