This video is a live recording from Telile Community TV in Arichat and was filmed on March 27, 2025 as part of the Cape Breton Partnership’s Futures in Film Information Series, a three-day event that took place across Unama’ki – Cape Breton from March 25-27, 2025, aimed at exploring career opportunities in the local film industry with industry professionals.

These sessions were held in Inverness, Sydney, St. Ann’s, and Isle Madame. Hosted by the Cape Breton Partnership, the Futures in Film Information Series featured presentations from Screen Nova Scotia, International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (ITASE), Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA), and more. The presentations were followed by an exhibitor-style open house, where attendees had the chance to speak with representatives from the sector and learn more about working in the industry.
