(Cape Breton, NS) – Do you have a business idea? Do you want to start a business? Do you want to grow your business? If you answered yes to any one of those questions, the Cape Breton Partnership invites you to visit www.entrepreneurcb.com, a newly launched one-stop shop for Cape Breton entrepreneurs.

“As Cape Breton – Unama’ki’s private sector-led economic development organization, one of our jobs is to support Cape Breton companies and entrepreneurs by connecting them with the resources they need to succeed,” says Carla Arsenault, Cape Breton Partnership President & CEO. “Entrepreneurs using this website will find the tools and resources they need to navigate their next steps for every stage of the business cycle.”

Based on business-specific needs, those visiting the site can learn more about programs and service providers around Cape Breton Island on a host of topics including product or service development; access to financing; franchising; permits and licensing; tax advice; skills training; sales and marketing; and export services. The resources will help non-profits, social enterprises, charities and traditional for-profit businesses.

There are also specific sections on the website dedicated to supporting women and youth in business; Indigenous, veteran, Black, and newcomer-owned businesses; and rural businesses.

“I am working with aspiring and existing entrepreneurs daily, providing business development, customized training and workshops,” says Eileen Paul, Membertou Entrepreneur Centre Manager. “Having an easy-to-access website like www.entrepreneurcb.com to work with my clients through will be a much needed and welcomed addition to the existing supports available for our entrepreneurs.”

The Cape Breton Partnership worked with VIBE Creative Group and NovaStream Productions to create the website. Any aspiring or existing entrepreneurs across the Island are encouraged to visit the site and then book a meeting with our team through the website or by calling the Cape Breton Partnership at 902-562-0122.
