FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(SYDNEY, NS) – The Cape Breton Partnership has recently moved from their longtime office at the 275 Charlotte Street location, to 285 Alexandra Street in Sydney. Over the last number of years, the Partnership has expanded its operations and the number of ongoing projects that support economic growth across Cape Breton and Mulgrave. With the addition of new activities and initiatives, the Partnership decided that more space was necessary to accommodate its growing staff and technology requirements.
“Our former Charlotte Street location was the ideal launching centre for the Cape Breton Partnership. Over the last decade though the guidance of our Investors, Board of Directors, as well as our public and private sector partners we have made our former Charlotte Street office the hub for bringing business together across Cape Breton and Mulgrave,” said Keith MacDonald, President and CEO of the Cape Breton Partnership. “The Sydney downtown served as a great location for the Partnership, but now as we enter a new era of growth we look forward to continuously working with our investors and partners to positively impact Cape Breton’s business climate.”
The Partnership will host an open house this summer to celebrate its grand opening and to welcome the community to our new location.
“The date for our open house has not been determined yet, but Investors and community members can expect to see an invitation for some time in July,” said MacDonald. “This is an exciting time for the Cape Breton Partnership and our work will remain dedicated to building a business led organization by promoting Cape Breton as a viable place to do business, identifying and advancing economic opportunities in every sector across the island, and collaborating with public and private sector partners to recognize challenges and remove barriers to business.”
The Partnership encourages everyone to update their mailing lists with our new address: 285 Alexandra Street, Sydney, Nova Scotia, B1S 2E8. If anyone has any questions or requires further details, they are encouraged to contact the Cape Breton Partnership office at 902-562-7182 or email info@capebretonpartnership.com.
