Individuals interested in contributing to the future of Unama’ki – Cape Breton’s economy are invited to submit a nomination for the Cape Breton Partnership’s Board of Directors for 2023-2024.
The Partnership’s Board Governance Committee will review nominations and individuals selected will be announced at the annual Investor Summit, being held October 26 at the Inverary Resort on Baddeck Bay. Members of the Board of Directors serve three-year terms and attend four meetings per year along with an additional strategic planning session.
Nominations for the Board of Directors will only be accepted from investors of the Cape Breton Partnership until 4:00 p.m., Friday, September 29, 2023. Any nominations received after that date will not be taken into consideration.

There are a limited number of seats available on the Cape Breton Partnership Board of the Directors. All nominations will be reviewed in private by the Governance Committee, who will take industry and geographical representation into consideration when selecting new Board Members. The official announcement of the new slate of Directors will be made on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the Cape Breton Partnership’s Investor Summit at the Inverary Resort on Baddeck Bay.
