The Culture Sector Team is the largest of all industry sector teams within the Prosperity Framework, with over 100 members from over 50 organizations from across Cape Breton. With such a large membership, it was decided that a Leadership team would be developed to head the sector team in order to efficiently oversee and manage the goals of the entire sector team. Carol Beaton, CEO of Carnat Consulting, and Catherine Arseneau, Director of Cultural Resources at Cape Breton University’s Beaton Institute, are co-chairs of the Culture sector team.

- Forging innovative alliances with a variety of partners.
- Develop and promote entrepreneurial opportunities within the culture sector.
- Contribute to the preparation of an overall Culture Strategy for the province of Nova Scotia.
- Ensure culture is at the heart of a share vision of prosperity for all of Cape Breton and Mulgrave.
