If you are a HR Professional and looking for immigration information, join us on May 10 at the Holiday Inn for a professional development lunch and learn. This session will cover context on Canadian, Atlantic and Cape Breton demographics and why immigration is important, general immigration considerations (the National Occupational Classification (NOC) system, skill groups, etc.), Federal and Provincial permanent immigration pathways including the Atlantic Immigration Pilot (AIP) Program, temporary pathways for employers, international recruitment opportunities, and employer supports. This session is supported by the Cape Breton Partnership and the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of Nova Scotia.
