Nova Scotia is Stepping Up at the Upcoming Engage Nova Scotia Conference

Engage Nova Scotia along with the Cape Breton Partnership, the Halifax Partnership, the Community Sector Council of Nova Scotia and many other sponsors are coming together to jump start the future of Nova Scotia through a one-day conference. This conference is unique because it will be happening simultaneously across the province with Sydney, Antigonish, Truro, Middleton, Halifax, Yarmouth, Amherst, New Glasgow, Greenwich, East Hants, and Tatamagouche all hosting the event. The Stepping Up conference will be on June 16, from 9:15 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

The conference is a free event that hopes to capitalize on the increased discussion about the future of Nova Scotia and turning that discussion into action. The one of the goals of the conference includes taking a fresh look at where Nova Scotia is currently as a province and what is possible for the future. They hope that community members will join in a lively discussion about issues that are important not only to the province but especially for their individual communities. The day will also include an update by Ray Ivany and the oneNS Report to help determine what the next step is for Nova Scotia.
