Bank of Canada Luncheon


The Cape Breton Partnership in collaboration with the Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia, are pleased to welcome representatives from the Bank of Canada for a luncheon address on Thursday, June 2, 2016. The luncheon will take place at the Membertou Trade and Convention Centre, 50 Maillard Street, Membertou, Nova Scotia. 

 

The luncheon keynote will feature Lawrence Schembri, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Canada. Schembri is coming to Cape Breton to present on behalf of the Bank of Canada's regional outreach program. Topics of discussion include the role of the Bank of Canada, the economic outlook for Canada and Nova Scotia, as well as the national tourism industry. The luncheon also offers Schembri an opportunity to hear local insights on the economy and its sectors from private business, industry associations and different levels of government.

12:30 p.m.      Deputy Governor Lawrence Schembri's Keynote Address 

 

1:00 p.m.        Q & A Session

 

1:30 p.m.        Closing Remarks
